Great wedding this last weekend! Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Houge. It was hosted at the notorious "Fairways" in Canton, Ohio. The weeks to come here in northeastern Ohio are very exciting. The Fairways is the golf haven to all the Football Hall of Famer's coming to relax, reminisce , and most likely place bets hole for hole at this beautiful location (I'm used to a dollar a hole bet, but I'm pretty sure these guys can afford more than that haha!). It's always exciting before the new season begins, and the first exhibition game is played at the famous Fawcett Stadium here in Canton.
It was a fantastic location and an even more extravagant wedding. The bridal party shined in their elegant pink dresses, and the groom's party did their thing by dressing in different styles. Way to be guys! In the same way the guys dressed differently and didn't exactly match, it got me to thinking. Yes, a wedding has to have a schedule and organization, but at the same time the spontaneity is what makes it fun. The toasts, the unexpected emotions, the unpredictability of what the people you haven't seen in forever will do or say, and always the laughing that proceeds when watching that one crazy dancer that puts the tie or swings the mini purse around his/her head and sings at the top of his/her lungs!!!! This was a great wedding and a great time because everything went perfectly and I am happy to say that I had the pleasure to be a part of it!
